Inquiries on antenna swap between different sized LCDs

Sightly off topic, both involves swapping antennas from both T61 15.4" and 14.1" to make good 14.1" LCD assembly for putting onto complete T400 base, I did check the fittment of T61 hinge mounts onto T400 chassis based on photos. Okay, will that work out or need some work on antennas to fit into 14.1" LCD frame?

Reason for replacing antennas was one of three connectors was ripped off from cable.

I dont have any of the device you mentioned above.
But I do have t420 with custom antenna, because I changed my Wifi card with braodcom 43960 if Im not wrong the AC 1300Mhz and they have smaller antenna hole compare to the standard one.

Ok so my new antenna was a bit longer, which makes thing easier, i just need to find an empty space to get the extra antenna stay there.
