Ultrabase dv4mini mod

Thinking about modifying my spare ultrabase for my X61s. Plan is to rewire one of the usb ports and solder a dv4 mini onto it. Those who dont know its a basically a small radio transceiver the size of a ubs 3g modem.

If push comes to shove i'll yank the ultrabay drive and mount it there, but i was hoping that somone whose opened up an ultrabase knows if there's any space inside
