My two year old Yoga S1 has developed a vertical blue line in the LCD. I understand that the LCD needs to be replaced. I am out of warranty.
I am led to believe that I require P/N 00HM745 by the shop that quoted me the repair work. Lenovo Canada wants $450 CAD for this display. That seems outrageous, and I'd prefer to try to fix myself if that's an option.
I have the FHD (1920x1080) with touch and rotation.
Is this the correct part number, and where can I get one? It appears that 00HM745 = LP125WF2(SP)(B3). Is this true? I've read on this forum that the 00HM745 is non-touchscreen, and I don't want to lose that feature.
The 3rd party shops seem to not have any stock (and don't anticipate getting more):

What are my options?
