T420 just came in.

My T420 just arrived! A refurbished machine but in better condition that I was expecting. Also has the high res 1600x900 screen! I didn't know it was coming with it. Very very faint keyboard and trackpad shine and just one small scratch on the lid. So excited! Can't wait to put all my files on it and make it my daily driver. So happy to have a true Thinkpad again. Especially with an i7!

Your T410 was my first Thinkpad and that machine served me through getting my IT degree in school. It was such a great machine I went with the T420 instead of a T430. love this keyboard better than the new style. This guy does getting a little warm though.

Maybe the heatsink needs a bit of cleaning and some new thermal paste.

T420 are nice machines. They are starting to become the next T60p (frankenpad) in some respects, with the FHD IPS mod.
