T43 Review

A T42 vs T43 comparison article will come out also, I just don't have a timeframe yet; hopefully soon!

Thanks for the site even more than the review- they are all quite thorough!

Plus I now know that the ATI x300 isn't for me.

There are a couple errors in your graphs.. some should say T43 but they dont. Might want to check that out.

Is gaming really that bad on thinkpads? I just bought a T42 2373M3U and I would like to be able to play some games occasionally.

Great article! I just finished reading it.

Your Doom 3 1024x768/High Image Quality/4x AA graph has an typographical error for the T43 bar. It's shorter than all of them (which I think is expected), but its numerical value is 22.3, which is the same as the Acer TM8103. Just curious for what that numerical value actually is (guessing around 6-7).

Sorry for the errors guys! We've had some difficulty with our editing system that makes fixing small mistakes time consuming and difficult.

The correct value that the T43 scored in the Doom 3 1024x768 High Quality 4xAA was 7fps  That will be fixed by this evening.

Also, the Half Life 2 Canals 08 4xAA/8xAF graph values are correct and the blue bar at the top IS the T43 score; I just had dain bramage when making these up.

Thanks for the praise and the help ;)

Great review, very comprehensive and it shows the same positives and negatives I found with the T43p.

I've been playing WOW on my 2373M3U, granted its no speed demon but its certianly playable even at native panel res (albiet with the graphic options turned down).

With the T42 in my sig and the Omega modded drivers I was able to play Need For Speed Underground, Manhunt, Max Payne, and some others. Definitely use the modded drivers, it makes a world of difference; but you'll have to stay to low res either way
