Sometimes cannot wake up my Thinkpad T420 from sleep mode
Sometimes cannot wake up my Thinkpad T420 from sleep mode
Hi
My notebook Thinkpad T420 (4236-N3G) with WIN7 PRO 64-bit and 8GB RAM goes to sleep and sometimes happens, I cannot wake up using keyboard or mouse.
There is no SSD inside, just a normal Toshiba MK3261GSY hard disk.
The newest BIOS Update is already done and "Power Options" in Windows are on default.
Has anyone similar problem or knows howto solve it?

When this happens, can you still wake using power button / Fn key?

OK, does it get stuck with the little moon LED lit, or is that also off?

Sounds like a mobo problem
While my T420 was still on warranty it refused to wake up on standby or even to power up, I would power for a few seconds and then It will die. The ultimate solution was to replace the mobo.
