Was prepping a T550 today; ended up getting the following error after restarting:
the program can't start because userdata.dll is missing from your computer
This is actually due to Lenovo's fingerprint management software, apparently it's poorly coded and doesn't work properly.
SOLUTION: uninstall it, it has nothing to do with Windows directly

(of course my personal solution is just not to bother with any of Lenovo's newer ThinkPads at all, but that's not a reasonable solution for clients who need new thinkpads).
