T42 Keyboard replacement question

#1 Post by fritz_the_blank » Wed Jun 08, 2005 2:25 pm

I am sorry if this has been asked before. My T42 (2378 EVU) uses the following keyboard:

08K5044 KEYBOARD - US ENGLISH

I need to replace it as I stupidly  vacuumed away (and shattered) some keys in a futile effort to rid my computer of excessive cat fur....

So, what is the best keyboard to buy to replace my broken one?

Thank you,

ftB

You already had the NMB (Thai) keyboard which is widely regarded to as being the best. You should replace your old keyboard with exactly the same one.

Call IBM and honestly explain your problem. You never know, but they might just send you another one. If not, the keyboards aren't that expensive, so you should be able to buy one yourself.
