Blank Screen & no VGA on R61

Was looking at an R61 today, not sure of the type, which was showing indicator lights, fan was behaving normally.
On boot up, if we can call it that, I heard a single beep.
Removing all ram, and I heard 1-3-3-1.

Any ideas for what i should try/check?

Try a different RAM stick.
