WTB: T450s

I’ve been looking at the T450s (or the T450) to upgrade from my X220. My friend has a charge at Best Buy and wants to get one for me, but I’m am reluctant to buy anything from them. I also want a higher resolution screen and 8GB of RAM and they’re charging a fortune for that.

The T450s is being sold on EBay without an OS and, since I already own Windows 7, I thought that might be a possibility. I’m happy with reconditioned computers and have someone here in Boston who can configure it. In the past, I’ve bought all my computers from this forum except for my first two which are collector's items.

I’m working on a script right now and it’s important I have something reliable. I'm also researching a lot so I need a fast, reliable internet connection.

I'd just buy one off eBay... just got a regular T450 for my mother for $520 with 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD.
