WTB: T61 battery

My T61 battery (92P1138) has died. Bought an OEM battery online, but it's useless. Does anyone out there have a T61 battery to sell? Thanks!

I have purchased used batteries from both of these ebay sellers and been happy with them. The one buyer always shows the battery specs from the Lenovo power manager so you know what you are getting. I have bought a couple from China but will not do that again. Had better luck with used ones on Ebay. Good Luck

There are new genuine batteries on ebay, mainly for T400/T500 models. The T500/W500 batteries will work in 4:3 T61 and 4:3 T60 models. I have a 9 cell T500/W500 battery in my T61 right now and it works fantastically. There doesn't seem to be any more new genuine 9 cell batteries shipping from the US, but there is one for 6 cell batteries:

T61 widescreen or the (4:3) model? (as the batteries are not interchangeable)

Regardless, I have a bunch of T6x batteries at home. I'll check tonight to see if any are for the T61 model.

so which model T61 do you need a battery for? If for the wide screen model I've got a Panasonic battery for sale
