New lcd with strange stuck pixel issue

Just got new IPS lcd from Ebay for X220, and something odd is going on with it:

Is this panel intentionally ruined by the factory, or why those pixels stuck red form a pattern?

I would say that a physical impact with the screen by some force / object caused the stuck pixels. If the seller offers a guarantee and/or return option, I'd take it.

Okay, this is quite stupid, but the lcd had a thin protective film on it with those "stuck pixels" which I didn't notice. Now everything is fine
