Fingerprint reader from T61p in a T520?

Hi, there,

It appears that, on many Thinkpads, the fingerprint reader is sold as part of the palmrest. Since my T520 has a plastic slug where the fingerprint scanner goes, I'm wondering if I can pull the scanner sensor itself from another machine and install it in the T520 palmrest.

If so, I have a second question: Will a fingerprint scanner sensor from the keyboard of a T61p work in a T520?

I know it's a longshot, but I figured I'd ask.
