T43 BIOS update options

#1 Post by micrex22 » Sat Apr 16, 2016 1:27 pm

I downloaded the unofficial modded T43 BIOS (that removes the invalid HDD alerts), however all of the packages are WINPHLASH for XP. I also don't see an .ISO option (just diskette). Is it possible to stick the ROM on a T60 .ISO or something?

Thanks,

Uh personally I don't think you should mod your BIOS, you can buy a 160GB Hitachi Travelstar 5K160 HDD and update its firmware. Then you will get around with the Err2010.

What nonsense!
To begin with, PATA drives are available up to 320GB.
And if you have a SATA-modded T43/R52 (like micrex22), then you can use up to 1TB HD or SSD!

I don't actually know why but I personally do not use more than 80GB of disk space with Win7/10 dual boot (x86 because T43 does not support 64bit), applications, and personal data. But it will be a BIOS downgrade update if you need to skip the err2010 check.

Nope, it will be a BIOS update, to use TTAV134's BIOS with Slic2.1, no-1802 and no-2010!
