T40p Dual-Band card - is it 802.11b and G?

I have a quick question regarding the T40p's wireless card. Is it 802.11b and G? Reason I ask is I added a 802.11G router today and the card T40p connects fine where it barely kept a connection with my previous 802.11b router. Thanks for any help on this.

If you tell us the model number (e.g. 2373-19U) we might be able to tell you for sure.

I think the first T40p machines came with 802.11a/b. ThinkPads didn't get g wireless until late 2003.

The model is 2373-g3u. Has anyone experienced this when they had a 802.11b card in a TP40p - better connectivity when the router was changed from an 802.11b model to an 802.11g model? Thanks.

According to IBM site 2373g3u has a 802.11A/B WiFi adapter.
