ACQUIRED -- LCD for T420
Long story short, I wasn't as mindful as I should have been and dropped a socket wrench on my LCD. It was a glancing blow, but there are cracks under the surface on the right side of my LCD.
Need a new one.
Anyone selling?

NEW ONE BOUGHT AND INSTALLED AS OF 5/8/2016

Re: WTB -- LCD for T420
Update. Crack is getting worse. A LOT worse. The flex in these newer ThinkPad covers really does a discredit to the legacy of the brand. My 600e had a horribly cracked LCD and it remained in the same condition until I replaced it because there was effectively no flex in the lid.
Anyway, I was forced to order off of e-bay. But it's not arriving until Tuesday. If anyone can get one to me before then, let me know. I'm trying to run a business here and it is highly dependent on me having a functional ThinkPad... though I am dusting off my T60 just in case.

If you run a business, get a desktop, ANY desktop, build it yourself if you like!

I don't disagree. I've just found that being tied down to a desktop computer doesn't really work for me.RealBlackStuff wrote:If you run a business, get a desktop, ANY desktop, build it yourself if you like!

Because I work outside of the office at least as much as I'm in the office, it has traditionally made more sense to do the bulk of my work on my ThinkPad.
