Hello and welcome thinkpads.com Forum.
For a little over four months now I'm a happy owner of P50. I chose 20EN0007 spec which comes with 4k screen. I like the quality of the screen very much, but after those four months I must regretfully say that today's world (at least the one I live in) is not yet ready for hi-dpi. Without going into unnecessary details, I decided to swap my screen to FHD one.
Has anyone considered or maybe even done such thing? I compared part lists of P50 equipped with both types of screens and I see that there are quite a lot of differences. LCD panel itself, cabling, even the lid. But maybe those are only Lenovo's part numbers which in fact are the same?
I'd appreciate any tips in this matter. I will also share my expieriences if I finally succeed in the replacement.
P50 - replace 4k screen with FHD one
