x61t: Not show Native Resolution 1400 x 1050 as max, but 1280. Where does Win 8.1 store adapter data "List All Modes"?

X60/X61 series specific matters only.

x61t Win 8.1: Not show Native Resolution 1400 x 1050 as max, but shows 1280

I have 2 HDDs, one was clone from the other - Pretty much same stuff on it... Except one HDD I used it to boot on an HP Pav DV with an ATI + Intel dual card.

I did a driver export using Double Driver - https://www.google.com/search?client=op ... ble+driver
I was hoping to import the correct driver, but
While doing a compare using Beyond Compare, there isn't much majorly different in the drivers.. being used/ active.

However, despite uninstalling ATI Catalyst & Intel HD 3000 drivers, they seem to be there on the Drive - Though they are seemingly not be used as devices are not there on X61T
I've done several cycles of "remove" "Uninstall" Monitors/ Displays & Display Card/ Video devices from Device Manager to no avail.

I figure its one of 2 things/ ways to go about this:

- Do a clean up of ATI drivers using some Tutorials I found - AND/ OR

- Find out where does Win 8.1 Store > Screen Resolution > Adapter > "List All Modes"? data in the System/ Registry/ INI/ INF?

It is likely that either you have just upgraded your screen resolution but did not change the codes in BIOS or you did not install the driver correctly. I personally don't own a X series computer but for T/X4xs and R5xs the ribbon cable tells BIOS the resolution but I think for 6xs they use codes since the cables are the same
