Probably not, because they are M.2.
And if you have an M.2 slot you will have to install a modded BIOS first, which has the wifi-whitelist removed

t420s have a slot other than m.2, but still can accept wwan cards in it.

Hi,
so it will be possible to install the em7355 card with the wifi-whitelist bios.
I read something not very pleasant about the whitelist bios for the t420s, some strange network requestes.. and now Im just not sure to install it on my machine.

the t420s doesn't have m.2 slot, it has a "mini pcie" slot,
search ebay for "mini pcie wwan" to see what can be installed in it.

if you get an official card from lenovo that is supported on this laptop, it will not require wifi/wwan whitelist removal.

check the hmm for a list of support wwan cards.

Thanks, now is clear for me the question about the wwan slot.

What is it " hmm" ?
Thanks again

HMM is the Hardware Maintenance Manual.
Click on the HMM link at the top of this page and download the T420s HMM.

@edivad - if you want to go the easy way, you should buy a Lenovo branded Ericsson F5521gw FRU 60Y3279, it's BIOS whitelisted. I see they're pretty cheap on ebay now.
T430 · i7-3632QM · 12GB RAM · 512GB SSD · HD+ · NVIDIA NVS 5400M · H5321gw
T420s · i5-2520M · 12GB RAM · 480GB SSD · HD+ · HD3000 · F5521gw
T60 · T2500 · 3GB RAM · 128GB SSD · 14.1 SXGA+ · 128MB ATI X1400
Past: T400, T41, T22, 600X, 390X

depends what country you're in... where I am its pretty much 3g as a low end option and 4g LTE being what is current.

So IMO a 3g card should be cheap. 2g cards are worthless since they are closing that spectrum anyway.
