W500 not working with T7300?

I own W500 with HD3650; it has currently T5870. Just got 15.4 T61 (with some nvidia graphics) in bad condition (broken lcd, hinges etc), booting with T7300.
The problem is that W500 with T7300 just doesn't turn on. Fan spins for 2-3 seconds, both power leds are on, capslock led is on for 2-3 seconds and then nothing. No beeps, blinks, both with and without RAM.
On T61 mobo, both T5870 and T7300 are working ok. W500 has 3.22 BIOS, there's 3.23 avaiable but it changed only things releated to AMT.
Any sugestions what I'm missing?

T7xxx series does not work on a T500/W500.
