Check out the Visa Canada Thinkpad site.

You will find it for less there. You may also find a better deal if you watch the site for a while. I got a terrfic deal on a 2378 REU (15" sxga+ flexview) with 3 year warranty and mini-dock. I was able to change the bundled items by talking to a rep. (This was just before the changeover.
Regards
David

I don't think so. Two 6 cells are worth more than a 9 cell.
For my use, I would stay with the more compact and lighter 6 cells.
If my needs were such that 9 cells were important, I would ask how much to upgrade from 6 cell to 9 cell on the second battery. I expect it will just be the list cost difference.
BTW. When making changes, check on the effect on delivery times.

T42 2378-REU PM 745, 512MB RAM, 60GB 7200 HD, 15 SXGA+, ATI 9600, CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11b/g , UltraNav, Secure Chip, FP reader, 6 cell battery, WinXP Pro
Thanks for the recommendation! For CA$40 I exchanged the additional 6-cell battery for a 9-cell one.energyandair wrote:I don't think so. Two 6 cells are worth more than a 9 cell.
