question about difference in uxga ips sxga display

I have a t43p broken machine for parts at disposal for a decent price . it carries an uxga 1600 lcd

apart from resolution , I'd like to know how much worse of an Ips sxga it is , given the fact I like the Ips on my current t43p and trying to build a second machine in case the current goes into age problems

it supposely carries also the in-famous ati v3200 fireGl ....

All T43p units were equipped with V3200.

It all depends on panel's condition and your own preference. I wouldn't say that one type of screen is necessarily better than the other when it comes to these two.
