french fries are best when a bit crispy..

and loads of french fries are a quick ticket to high cholesterol..

so while i like'em i don't often eat'em.. :)

I personally like the Arby's fries best. Especially when they are greasy. Greasy and fries go together like ThinkPads and IBM. I just wish I knew what days the fries were fresh. At all the fast food joints around here, it seems the fries get crunchier (not the good crunchy either, the bad, funky gross crunchy) towards the end of the week.

Is it just here (Marietta, GA) or everywhere that the fast food fries are declining in quality?

As far as cholesterol goes, I just have to say this: man I'm glad I'm not old yet. I have a working metabolism and I figure it won't stay too much longer so I'm going to take full advantage now and worry later. :D

The time between cooking and serving the fries makes a much bigger difference to me than the "brand". When it became too soft it's not fun at all to eat.

Don't really eat french fries anymore. They are nothing more than fat, salt and carbohydrates

Rather have a nice salat with a big, bloody steak :P

Btw, the best fries are definately twisterfries som Burger King. Nothing beats that, when it comes to fries.

I like them hot and crispy! However, I often bake frozen ones because its healthier than frying them, so they aren't always crispy.

Erm, don't you mean "freedom fries"?

I always loved Wendy's fries, when they're fresh. I thought Bojangle's always had mediocre fries, but their cajun seasoning made them pretty tasty.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to make myself eat fast food since I read Fast Food Nation last summer. :(
