X1 Carbon Touchpad Left Click Stuck

#1 Post by teamde78 » Sun Jun 26, 2016 1:11 pm

Title says it all. I am having an issue where the left hand side portion of the touchpad will not initiate a click. It is quite annoying. It doesn't appear to be stuck or anything. Anyone have any similar issues/know how to fix?

Last time I had problems on the X1C3, I just changed the click area to something larger.
I believe it was using Windows 10.

Just an update.. I popped the bottom off the machine and put it back on and for whatever reason that solved the issue. Really not sure why as I didn't do anything besides take the bottom panel off and then immediately put it back on. Strange.

Hmmm... maybe there was debris or an slight imperfection in the palmrest, touchpad or left click to where it would get stuck.
I presume you removing it must of flexed it ever so slightly to loosen it up.

Yea, It was the strangest thing. I didn't even mess with the actual placement of the touchpad. It must have been off ever so slightly.
