Specific T-60 UXGA 15" LCDs

#1 Post by wsalomon » Wed Jul 06, 2016 12:16 am

I'm doing a FrankenPad conversion for the 15" T-60, and the last item is the UXGA screen.

I took the 13N7076 route, but the one that arrived was clearly wrong as CCFL plug is wrong, and have not yet heard back from supplier if they actually have the right one. So that got me to pursuing this by the BOE-Hydis number HV150UX1-10x.

So, unsure which is glossy, and which is matte (-100 and -101).

Also, I've seen reference to a Sharp AVS 15" screen, but no specific numbers.

And are there any other "candidates"?

Thanks!

That should be the exact screen. Does it actually have the FRU # on the back?

Neither is glossy, both are matte. You'll need to flash the EDID on -101 in order to use it on T60/p.

Sharp panels - as nice as they are - were neither IPS/AFFS nor a factory option.

There's an ID Tech panel that late T60p models shipped with. FRU is 42T0345 .
