Built an r50p

#1 Post by TPFanatic » Sun Jul 17, 2016 2:10 am

I had a rebuilt R50p which got sent away. Out of scrap parts I rebuilt another R50p. I love the R50p, its got curves where the T series is flat and its tall black hinges are distinctly classic R series. The 2005 IDTech UXGA Flexview was taken from an ailing T42p project that didn't need it anymore, the motherboard seems to work, and the heatsink is also from a T42p for proper GPU coverage. With XP, Palemoon, PM 745, and 1GB of RAM the R50p browses the forum like a champ. Its new life will be that, old games, and looking pretty from now on.
