hard drive upgrading

#1 Post by jarbill » Sat Jun 11, 2005 11:11 pm

If anybody is interested, I found what looks like an easy way to upgrade the 5400 rpm hdd's to a 7200 rpm. This is a cloning software system that sounds very easy to use.

Here's the link: http://www.bixnet.com/eziinodatran.html. If you have a new t43 with the 5400 rpm drives in it, you might get a 7200 rpm drive, clone your existing drive, and then replace it with the 7200 and use the 5400 as a backup drive or external storage drive.

If anybody tries it, let me know how it works. I would be interested in knowing.

Jerry

P.S. BTW, I have bought from this company in the past and had no problems at all.

I use Casper XP. It has worked flawlessly for me, in cloning a drive with multiple partitions.
