need windows 7 pro for thinkpad x220

I need a windows 7 pro install for my thinkpad x220 I tried putting in my windows key on microsoft but it says it's a oem key does anyone have a link for a download ? or know how to get a regular windows 7 pro to work on here ? any help would be appreciated i've been searching for a few days with no luck

OEM installation media can't be downloaded from Lenovo or anywhere else for that fact, at least not legally.

You could post a WTB (want to buy) ad in this forum's Marketplace asking for recovery media and I'm certain that someone will come to the rescue.

Someone made a tool to download installation images from Microsoft's archives, and yes, it includes OEM flavors:

I personally used it to download and install Win7 Pro OEM (onto an HP Envy system), and it activated just fine with the COA on the machine.
