I bought a FrankenPad about two months ago only to find that it is a little too big for my needs. I would like something more portable like the x61t frankie so I am trying to trade mine for one of those plus some money (depending on the offer). Here is the description which the seller I bought from wrote.

For sale here is my artisan, handcrafted FrankenPad workhorse. It has been serving me well, but due to an upcoming move, it may go into the recycle pit - unless someone here decides to rescue it.

This is almost the fastest 4:3 screen ThinkPad you can ever get, with a gorgeous factory LED-lit screen!
Built from a T60 15 inch chassis, T61 Intel GPU motherboard, and a factory LED-backlit 1600x1200 UXGA Hydis AFFS LCD screen.
T9300 CPU (2.5GHz), (4 + 2 = ) 6GB RAM, Intel 6205 abgn wireless card, bluetooth, UltraBay caddy for second hard drive + DVD drive, fingerprint reader. SSD/hard drive optional, not included by default.
Comes with a Panasonic 9-cell battery with 76.44mAh (91% design) capacity, and a 90W Lenovo power adapter.

OS? Hard Drive? Does it work as is? Any flaws?

Only GNU/Linux or any free operating system, no license sticker. Comes with 120 GB Cruzer SSD and 1 TB hard drive, can be taken out if want to reduce price.

The frame of the computer is in very good shape. The lid was very sticky when I got it so I polished it up and it looks beautifully. As for any flaws, there are basically none major that I can think of except for the palm rest on the left side, where prying it with your fingers you can separate it from the case but this takes some brute force and is otherwise fine.
