List of reliable/recommended Ebay sellers of x230/x220

#1 Post by codek » Wed Aug 10, 2016 3:36 pm

I'm looking to pickup another x230 or maybe an x220 with or without goodies like batteries and the dock off of ebay.

There usually are a couple with great prices.

Wanted to list our findings and make a cumulative list.

I'm going to do some research also and will update with my findings.

If you want a reliable laptop from a recommended seller, forget eBay, buy from our own Marketplace!

+1. A member of this forum would be toast if they sold bad equipment. Buying here is a lot less risky.

Yes, of course :D that's the 1st place I looked.

Best group of thinkpad enthusiasts of the world are on these forums.

And that's where I am getting my x230 but not many sellers of x220/x230's these days. :(

Seriously, you are one of the best sellers out there. Getting any more thinkpads in stock? Or are you out of that business now. I remember you contributing with high quality gear all the time in the marketplace.

I've bought a few X230's from this seller on ebay, and they've all been as described: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Computers-Table ... _Auction=1

Ships quickly, and I never felt like the wool was being pulled over my eyes.

ETA Looks like there aren't any x230 or x220 atm, but I'm sure more will be posted soon. Not sure if the seller just has one source of laptops or many, but they consistently have 5 or 6 X230's at any given time.

This looks like a really great laptop, but I spent $825 on a new X260 from Lenovo with an i5-6300, FHD IPS Display, Backlit Keyboard, and 72WH rear battery(in addition to the front 23.2WH battery). For just a little more they could get a newer model that's much more energy efficient.
