X230T - looking for help flashing bios for X220 keyboard install

Hello, I have recently installed the X220 keyboard in my X230T, but I have still yet to do a bios flash for some of the function keys to work.

Unfortunately, I have no idea on how to patch the Lenovo iso with the bios mod. I have flashed bioses before many times, but I have never used tools from git repository to patch an iso. I have read instructions and tutorials but unfortunately I am still lost on how to patch the Lenovo iso for my X230T.

First of all, do you have Windows or Linux?
