Thinkpad 600 dead??

#1 Post by SnaveZ » Sun Jun 12, 2005 2:32 pm

I have a 600 that a friend that dropped off...and wanted me to fix...

well....

I boot up the thing...and get these errors...

192 (fan error)

173 (<-- don't know this one)

and 163 (<-- don't know this one either)

What are the other 2 error codes???

and is there a way to fix this without reflashing bios???

I don't had a Floppy drive or anything for reflashing...

At this point...I'm going to have my friend bring it to a laptop repair shop that is near by...

I just want to give the man...the information about what the error codes are...

thanks,

SnaveZ :)

You just need a $10 CMOS battery.
