If you find one with newer ThinkPad logo, you can just swap the decal, takes all of 10 seconds.

Chinese sellers on feebay offer a decent amount of NOS plastics for ThinkPads...start there, and post a WTB (want to buy) ad in the forum's Marketplace as well.

Good luck.

You have to be careful when buying parts from China or Chinese sellers on ebay, even if parts are advertised as OEM/Genuine. Sometimes the stock is stock that hasn't passed QC. For example, I once got a 'genluine' T60 palmrest, and even though the FRU # was present, it felt cheaper, had no wifi switch label, and wore faster. The Manufacturer label was simply 'Engineering' and not 'Flextronics', 'Toray Industries', or any other I have seen??? No indent markings for the manufacture date were present. I also bought a new alps keyboard which was genuine, but the printing on the shift, enter, and backspace keys were fuzzy and misaligned slightly. Both were from different sellers. Often times they don't come in NOS boxes, just generic cardboard boxes.

I recommend posting a WTB on the forum marketplace.
Current Thinkpads: W530 (functional classic keyboard mod), X301, T61, T60, T43, T23, 600X, 770
Other: mk5 Toughbook cf-19, mk1 Toughbook cf-53
