Scrolling with trakpoint under server 2012 r2
Hello,
i have installed the driver for the ultranav 16.2.19.14, http://support.lenovo.com/fr/en/downloads/ds019164, but I cannot scroll with the trackpoint. In any application, When I press the middle button, the cursor does not change to the usual cursor visible on the left here

in fact, in the window of the settings of the trackpoint, I do not even have the part ''scrolling or magnifying''
do you have the same thing ?

What version of Windows are you running, 8.1? I'm also going to assume it's an X series ThinkPad.
The touchpad must be connected in order for your to install the *ultranav* driver. If only the trackpoint is connected, the *trackpoint* driver must be installed.
The driver has two portions, the rich lenovo portion and the synaptics portion. On some thinkpads (like the edge series) they use the synaptics portion.
I'm under the assumption you're RDPing into server 2012 / if you've actually installed Windows Server on your ThinkPad / I would strongly advise reverting back to a desktop flavour. Keep in mind Server 2012 and Windows 10 will need a newer version of the UltraNav driver to scroll in metro windows since it utilizes different programming parameters not present with "classic" scroll bars.

Yes I run server 2012 r2. THe thing is that Lenovo has put only one driver for windows 8.1 and it is the synaptic one.

There is a regular Ultranav driver and I can confirm as I've used it:artic_squirrel wrote:Yes I run server 2012 r2. THe thing is that Lenovo has put only one driver for windows 8.1 and it is the synaptic one.

Unfortunately Lenovo lost their mind and did not catalogue any of the THRONGS of UltraNav / TrackPoint drivers they have floating all over the place. So that may or may not be the one I used last time (not sure). I *did* have the 8.1 UltraNav driver working on a T601 without issue, and it was not the synaptics package.
