I've got a X230, I thought it had a hardware issue so I bought a W530. Turned out the X230 just needed a BIOS update, now I have 2 thinkpads. I use this for my work-from-home machines, I'm thinking I should keep my W530, but only because we have a team member on the west coast and we skype with him daily in our team meetings using my laptop.

Off the top on my head the specs on the X230 are

i5 (not sure of the model but I think its i5-3320M)
1366x768 screen resolution
480 GB SSD
16 GB of Ram.

I also have a docking station and 2 power adapters for the laptop (which also work for the docking station)

I'll have to research shipping costs to Canada to give you an accurate price.
but I figure that it's worth around $400, given all the upgrades and extras. I still have the original parts so I can replace them and the price will be a bit lower.

I have 8 GB DDR3 (2 x 4GB modules) and the 320 HD (regular hard drive not an ssd), I figure that should drop the value $40 - $80 from the $350 I said before depending on which you want me to swap out. Sorry I've been pretty busy so I haven't looked into the shipping costs to Canada yet. I'll try to get a handle on that tonight.
