NEW case for my t42, any opinions?

#1 Post by revolutionary_one » Sun Jun 12, 2005 9:19 pm

Just picked up a new backpack with a seperate built in sleeve to carry my t42. Any opinions, i still have time to return this thing, just wondering whether it looks to be solid enough.

The laptop is totally encased in soft neoprene that wont harm the finish of the Thinkpad, yet, also its padded by tons of extra all thoughout.

It's a Samsonite Executive Backpack that i picked up for $19

Sweet. If it seems good quality, that's a great price.

I just use a Booq Powersleeve (as do a bunch of other people on this board, it seems), and I just throw it in my backback or messenger bag.

my dad just recently brought it home from some outlet mall.

I'm still thinking about purchasing a sleeve though. or making my own out of neoprene. Shouldnt be too hard.

It was one of the last 3 left on the shelve. And the great part is i have like 6 months to return it if it doesnt work out. i.e the laptop breaking in half while its in there (o yea TPP :P).
