T420 palm rest replacement

My T420's palm rest has a bunch of cracks on either side of the trackpad.

I have covered them up countless times with electrical tape or duct tape, but with my wrists resting there, the tape inevitably starts to slide off, my hands get all sticky, and i have to put on new tape.

I tried looking on ebay and only found a used palmrest for $28 and one with no picture for $50.

Is there nowhere in the world I can just get the palmrest piece? Plain T420, not T420s.

Try posting a WTB ad in the forum's Marketplace. That's what I would do anyway...

Other than batteries, I would avoid amazon for laptop parts. There are many other places such as the marketplace here or eBay (assuming you do your homework) that get you the same exact part in the same condition for far less.
