Specs:
- -7762-K3U - But I'm not sure it's fair to call it that anymore as I've frankenpad-ed this thing together.
-1.8ghz L7700
-8gb RAM - Made available via the Middleton BIOS
-320gb 7200rpm drive
-SXGA+ IPS display from an X60T
-Atheros AR93xx Wireless N adapter
-Fingerprint reader
- - Genuine charger
- X6 Tablet Ultrabase
- Wacom Stylus
- 4-cell battery at what Ubuntu states as 86.6% capacity
- Windows Vista Business COA with a very readable product key - says "Lenovo Singapore" I don't know if that makes a difference. I've been running Ubuntu. I don't have discs, so it will come with Ubuntu so you can at least open the box, turn it on, and see that it works.
- Sierra Wireless MC5725 Mobile internet card (It is not installed, but can be. Antennas and slot are present and available)
- Azurewave HD Video Decoding card BCM97001(It is not installed, but can be.)
- Additional 1gb Adata PC2-6400 RAM module - not installed (RAM is currently maxed out with 8gb) This is the old module.
- -The LCD has a few light scratches from using it as a tablet - I can't see the scratches unless I go looking for them or the screen is off. Barely visible.
-The LCD (usually when first turned on) will display garbage on half the screen. This is remedied (albeit temporarily) by giving the bottom left side of the screen a gentle squeeze. Afterward, you're good to go for an hour, a week, or a month. I've been doing this for the last year and it seems to work fine. Over time I have not had to squeeze it any more frequently than when it first happened.
-Cosmetics aren't terrible, but there are a few cracks - one on the latch hole in the palmrest. Still latches though.
-The USB port closest to the firewire port is broken. The plastic in the middle that supports the pins is missing. I bought it in this condition. I don't use a ton of USB stuff so it didn't bother me.
