ATi Mobility FireGL T2 Drivers

I am receiving my new T42p tomorrow, and I was wondering what BIOS and Video drivers perform the best with this lappie. This is the 128MB version of the card. Not sure if it matters thogh. Thank you.

I've got the exact same configuration (2373GVU) though my 2GB ram is Kingston.

I use Windows Update for the video driver, but IBM Software Updater for all of the other drivers. DO NOT install the updated modem driver! installing it makes mine into a pulse-only modem, while the original modem software works like a champ.

Well, all I can say is wow about this laptop. It is a breath of fresh air from my other Windows laptops. So smooth, light, and beautiful. I love the plain look of the laptop. I've always been a stickler for simplicity.

It's as nice as my 15" PowerBook.

Anyways, I installed all of the drivers through Software Update, and it went well. Even the BIOS update. I love how simple it is to update the drivers and software in the ThinkPads. Just like Apple Software Update. This laptop shure takes me home with everything about it.
