Swapping out T550 French keyboard for English?

I have T550 that came with a French keyboard and would like to replace it with an English keyboard. The French keyboard has a few more keys and slightly different layout. I am running English Windows 10. Except for the extra keys, the keyboard already works as if it were English. Will there be any hardware or software issues with swapping the French keyboard for the English?

Hardware: no problems.
Software: after installing KB you only need to change your Control Panel/Region and Languages settings to US English.

PS: switch off completely before you do the swap.
