Hey. I am in need of buying hinges since they are loose. I tried to tighten them up but it didn't work. I found that several people had the same problem. Will it happen with the new ones?can you guys suggest some or at least eshop where they can be found? Except ebay and aliexpress.
Thanks

Re: T430s hinges
The loose hinge issue is very common across 14.1" models (pre-T440 models, at least), but should only exhibit a slight amount of play.
You can't tighten the hinges on the 14.1" models, either. I wouldn't bother getting a new pair unless they are very loose. The marketplace here is a safe place to buy new and used parts. eBay can be safe, as long as you do a lot of research.

Re: T430s hinges
What does it mean not too loose? They are holding the screen with not problem hovewer they are loose in a way there is a free movement until the screen moves. Dont know if you understand. Screen moves like 1cm when the hinge starts moving.

By loose, I mean "play", which is what you described. 1cm isn't too bad, and it isn't worth getting a new hinge set, since they will develop the same issue.igor.vysoky wrote:What does it mean not too loose?
