SOLD: T520

#1 Post by TPFanatic » Tue Jan 10, 2017 1:27 am

Edit: Sold on ebay

It's a 4239-CTO with no modem, bluetooth, or FPR. It has an LG 1600x900 screen that's very bright. The battery is good, around 100 cycles Sanyo 6 cell with 87% original capacity. Comes with 90W Lenovo PSU even though it's a 65W model, i5 2520m and integrated graphics. Keyboard is a Chicony. Trackpad looks okay. The palmrest is a little shiny where palms go and the trackpoint cap is practically new. All ports are in good condition. Note the HDD caddy and rails are imitation parts but they do their job. Currently is dualbooting Windows 7 and Windows 10.

i5 2520m 2.5-3.2 Ghz dual core w/ hyperthreading, pasted with Arctic Silver 5.
8GB (2 4GB sticks) Samsung PC3-12800L RAM 1600Mhz but running at 1333 speeds because of the BIOS
250GB HDD with Win7 Pro 64 installed from a recovery disk
Realtek Wireless N
Has a Win7 Home Premium COA
Webcam

Hoping to get $180, plus shipping. This is lower than what I'm listing it by other mediums (feebay, Craigslist) and I am willing to offer discounts. I can switch out the ram for 2x2 Hynix PC3-10600 and take off $15. If you don't want the power supply I can take off another $7. Consider that the laptop is in cosmetically very good condition, I'd rate it 8/10 and the hinges are very tight. I would also consider a larger price discount for trading for a dead T420 that needs a motherboard. This is a great laptop.

See pictures of the laptop here: http://nh.craigslist.org/sys/5933167026.html
