TP x230 LCD cable

I also need an LCD cable... again somebody wants to rip me off.
I was told the cable can cost some 80 USD...

I found one advertised as cable for x220, but in the description it says it is ok both for x220 and x230. Can anybody please advise on this? thanks.

Yes, X220 and X230 use the same LED-cable (04W1408) and LCD-cable (04W1679).

PS: why don't you download the X220 HMM and the X230 HMM plus FRU-BOM list?
It's all in there.

I am not familiar enough with the bom lists...will use them .
Unfortunately, the various eshops here do not have the FRU number anyway stated on their websites...For an LCD panel, they wrote me back they do not even know the FRU even for products they have on stock.
The ones that do, are very expensive, they are the official authorised providers.
