#1 Post by Whitieiii » Sat Jan 21, 2017 6:57 am

Has Thinkpad model differences been covered before? What would be the difference between the A,T, and X models if all internals are the same? Looking to see what would work best for me

"if all internals are the same" only applies to the same machines, not between series.
An apple is not an orange, but both are fruit, have juice, vitamins and a peel.

I mean if all three have pentium 3 and you are trying to deside between what series to get than what are the differences between the A,T, and X series? Dose one series have other parts to differentiate them?

Kinda like if you are on Lenovo's site today and are looking between the e,l,t,x series and each computer from each series has a dual core i7 than what are the differences?

In your other thread http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=122865 you got a number of different options thrown at you.
Just do a Google for images of those models to see the differences in size and appearance.
Referring here to older series' screen sizes:
Numbered series between 10" and 14"
A series is 14" and 15"
T series is 14"
X series is 12"

Lenovo's site is useless and horrible nowadays.
If you want differences, you will have to be more specific than just a CPU.
I suggest you download a few A3x/T2x/X2x manuals from the HMM link above and read their chapter "Product overview"
