T61 unable to boot <PICS>

Hi. I have a t61 and got the the error message " pxe-e61" on boot up now I only get the message error loading operating system. What can i do to try and resolve this? Thanks

I'm a googler so have googled this issue before hand. Just a bit confused as most posts I've found are a bit technical for me. Just wanted a easier check list to follow with some help and guidance

Start the machine, press F12 on the boot. Do you see the hard drive in the list of bootable devices?

Yes I can see the hard drive and its first priority

You usually get that error when your hard disk fails.
Switch off and try removing/reseating it, or rather: try another hard disk.
