Hi fellow Thinkpaders,
it looks like Lenovo is not willing to consider this a problem, because my wifi is working generally. But there are noticeable spikes in my ping, independent of network (even my phone has a more stable connection in the same network).
Here is a screencap of the phenomenon:

I was curious to find out if other T450s users have the same problem, so if you want to help me out:
- Open CMD (Win+r, enter "cmd")
- ping google.com -t
- Abort after ~50 packages (Ctrl+C)
- Screenshot/copy paste the log in this thread
Thanks a lot!
Best,
Gregor

The ping is the reaction time of your connection how fast you get a response after you've sent out a request. A fast ping means a more responsive connection. Which would be good for online gaming. Now if you had a issues with not connecting than I would use different commands to figure out the issue. I think you do not need to worry about it. I pinged yahoo.com my IBM T500 just to see what was the result which is below. As I said before I can access the web with no issues this laptop runs Linux mint 18 not windows.
Code: Select all
