I'm trying to avoid keeping more ThinkPads than my family actually uses, so it's time to sell my son's ThinkPad T420s, which, thanks to my son and to the IBM Service Center is in excellent shape and has some extras.

Hardware (after upgrades): T420s, 8GB, i5-2540M, media card reader, DVD-Ultra, Intel AC-7260 Wi-Fi, Intel 240GB SSD, standard 6-cell battery. No camera; no fingerprint reader, deliberate omissions for improved security. CompuTrace is permanently disabled in the BIOS.

The battery is a fairly recent Lenovo-branded replacement. I'll also include an UltraBay battery, in good condition. And I'll include a second Lenovo power supply along with the original.

All this will ship in the original box and packing.

The SSD has a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, fully updated and activated, and with all items correctly listed in the Device Manager. I've installed System Update and updated all drivers. The user account is named ThinkPad and does not use a password; you can easily install your own account.

The machine was gently used, mostly indoors, and the lid has the usual light scuffing. Toward the end of the original three-year warranty, EZ-Serv replaced the base, keyboard, bezel, trackpad, etc., so all of these are essentially in new condition.
