T420 IPS screen upgrade

New to the forums here and was looking for some advice. There are plenty of IPS 1080 screens that I think would fit a T420 selling on Amazon
There are couple of threads on this forum indicating a "kit" needs to be bought as this is the T420 non-s model. Where would I find the rest of the parts to upgrade the T420 14" screen to full IPS 1080?

The trick and need of the kit stems from the fact that the T420 uses LVDS displays, and any worthwhile screens use eDP. A converter kit was designed by javi-jie on 51nb a couple years ago, and RMSMajestic was acting as an agent to bring them across the Pacific and sell them worldwide.

Unfortunately the T420 (non-s) kit was never released widely. There are only a handful of folks who have the kit which was only sold briefly about 18 months ago, and it has not been sold since due to issues with display problems stemming from system components interfering with the converter PCB.

The latest news is that they don't intend to give up on resolving the problems, but the problem has only been reduced, not eliminated. As such they aren't being sold, and getting your hands on one is going to be a matter of finding someone who has one and is willing to sell.

Until javi_jie works out the bugs, we likely won't be seeing it again for some time.
