45w vs 55w heatsink fan

Hey there, quick question, can a w520 45w and 55w heatsink swap out interchangeably?? Basically can I use a 55w heatsink in any w520? My buddy has a 55w heatsink he will give me and my old 520 needs a heatsink.

Yep. Nobody is really sure as to what the difference is between them either...
