Question about T61 ans T400 LCDs

Will a 14.1" T61 1400x1050 LCD work as is in a T400 14.1" 1440x900 CCFL unit?

Highly unlikely, but you never know...
You'll first need to get the datasheets of both LCDs and compare their pinouts, which must be identical.
Next, get the schematics from both laptops and compare their mobo-connector pinouts, which must be identical
Another problem might be the LCD-cable connectors onto the mobo themselves, which also must be identical.
Finally, size-wise they won't fit in each others lids...

I guess I had a brain fart and assumed all T61's were widescreen.
